Your scrolls are well drawn.  but the edge of the flat panel on which you intend to create mouldings has a perfectly straight rear line.  I'd like to see that with a concavedness rather than straight.
The mouldings themselves can be any combination of convex, concave, incised, and raised beads that your head can dream up.  Taper them toward the lock - wider at the rear, closer together at the wrist.

Taylor has given some excellent advise in the above post.  You appear to have some good artistic ability and skill - make sure you step back and look at the whole picture in different lighting and fresh eyes.  Remember not to miss the forest because of focusing on the trees, let it all flow together so to speak, and you will do well.
