Looking for a sun inlay..
« on: February 01, 2018, 04:44:11 AM »
Anyone here have an outlet for a Sun inlay, looking for a large one for a cheek piece. I'm going to coordinate it with a moon inlay. I thought about making the inlay, but I don't have access to a jewelry saw nor a scroll saw.
Ive looked at various websites and havnt found it yet.

I would bet that buying he Jewelers saw frame and blades will be cheaper than having a custom inlay made for you. Plus you will have it for future builds. Nothing wrong with investing in tools.

Locally at hobby shops, you can get them for around $12. Get a blade assortment!

Got a dremel?  Cutting wheel on a dremel will slice through sheet quick and get you close enough to finish with files.
