Soon as I saw that coil spring I thought of Bob Kern.  He was a local man here in Ligonier, Pa which is near my home.  We used to visit him and his shop when still in high school around 69-70-71 or so.  Mr, Kern kept us straight in many ways and probably saved our lives.
I have a couple real nice trigger gds and maybe a butt plate marked KERN.
He was a grand old guy to us.  My very first build was all from his shop.  What a mess, but safe thanks to him.

MM70,
I don't recognize the coil spring locks but mine from 1974 appears to be in
good shape and need a good cleaning.New old stock, Every so often one
of mine pops up in never used condition.
Thanks for showing these.
