One thing that sticks in my mind from the judges at Dixon's last July, was my failure to completely inlet the trigger guard returns both front and rear, into the stock. I see that you have a little of the rear guard return proud of the wood. Now I try to inlet them right in to the bevel - in other words, only the bevelled or faceted part is above the wood. I'd like to see more pictures of this rifle.
