Just curious; what is the drop, pull, and cast-off on that rifle?

Mark, I will have to check when I get back home, don't remember off the top of my head, I did keep it somewhat higher since it is prone shooting. The cast off is around 5/16-3/8

Looks like you’re only a few coats of stock finish from killing spiders!  Good looking rifle!

Mark, knowing your ability to follow established details, I have questions about two aspects of your architecture.

First, why have you left the off-side lock panel so large, and two, why the big rectangular flat piece at the bottom of the cheek piece, and the lower edge parallel to the bottom of the buttstock?  You must have a good reason, and hope you can enlighten me.  Just looks unfinished to my eye.

Has the forward TG extension drifted off center?

My chunk gun is a blend of two originals rifles, one being called "old guy" and the other "old scaley"

As far as the trigger guard I think it is just an illusion of the angle I was holding my phone for the picture

You do excellent, fast work!  Totally envious of your set of shaper blades, and the shaper itself.  I am scraping the barrel channel on my H. Rupp LR, and sanding the ramrod channel.  Filing on the lock pieces while I rest from the stand-up work.

Now, me being new to Long Rifles and flint lock guns:  What the heck IS a "soddy chunk gun"?  I did figure out some of the abbreviations in forum posts, such a SMR = Southern Mountain Rifle.  And a few others.  But what is a soddy chunk gun, and what are "chunk matches"?  I keep envisioning people throwing chunks of watermelon or such...

Love that walnut stock.  Much easier for me to work than maple!

Nice build!  I really enjoy crisp inletting where the metal looks like the wood grew around it.
