Jim Webb Pouch
« on: July 18, 2018, 01:49:42 AM »
Hi Folks,

While visiting Jim this weekend, I had this bag follow me home.  I thought y'all might enjoy seeing it.  Jim does delightful work in many different styles, with most being made from buck hide.

I really enjoy Jim's artistic design on this one, and it is incredibly supple.  The bag is padded with wool, and quilted with the stitching you can see in the photos.  I cannot begin to guess the hours he poured into this one.  I can say for sure that his prices do not reflect the meticulous hours of labor he puts into each bag.

In the one shot I showed the inimitable Jim Webb price tag hanging off the bag.  Jim admits people collect his tags as well as his other work.

Jim and his wonderful wife Susie (an impressive artist in her own right) will be at the CLA show, so look them up.  I know Jim has a darker version of this bag/pouch ready for the show.  They set up not far from Jim Parker, in the area outside the doors of the main hall.

Best wishes, and God Bless,   Marc

Very nice Marc. Wonderfully precise workmanship. It will take a really fine gun to go with that.
