My Vietnam buddy finished his SMR

I talked my 74 year old buddy into buying a kit. He was hooked on TOTW due to them sending him nice ram rod pipes for his CVA. The kit from TOTW is not as beginner friendly as a TVM but, the more you have to do yourself, the more you learn. His name is Bean, so he tried copying a Bean rifle. He did a good job on it and asked me to share it on here. It’s not HC and I would have gotten stabbed in the throat repeatedly if I would have attempted to give him advice. Anyhow, here’s another fellow gun enthusiasts that you all created inadvertently. Its 45 with a 42” strait Colerain and a large Siler. It’s Aquafrtis with True Oil finish and a browned barrel.

he did a nice job. Nifty to see the brass mounts, I like them. Isn't this the fellow that was with you at the CLA?

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

Y'all need to load up and come up to St Albans and shoot with us, or have a private session, it Can be arranged. Many of our guys are vets, too. You are most welcome. Don't be a stranger.Dave
I like the look of the rifle also. Like to see you guys.
