Jaeger Trigger Project with Chris Laubach
« on: October 04, 2018, 05:31:59 PM »
I wanted to mention with Chris's approval, that he is working on a set trigger project in addition to his locks. I loaned him the double set triggers from my Paul Poser Flint Rifle, which is now the model for the upcoming triggers. As you can see from the photos, Chris has scanned and 3D printed the triggers. My understanding is that it will go to the machinist for evaluating and estimating cost of CNC. As a builder and instructor of a Jaeger Rifle class, I am very excited with the prospect of being able to obtain authentic and precision triggers. At the moment there are no estimates on date of availability. My class members have been enthusiastic and indicating a desire purchase multiple sets when they become available.

Very nice.  I’d certainly buy a set when available.

Glad to see this. I've had requests to make them but didn't
need or want another project and still don't.

  • One day I'll be considered a good builder.

With a little tweaking, it would work on an early longrifle.
