Thanks Dan, you do good work my friend. That is a little closer to the look that I am after. I really think that after trying to do what I think, it is going to come down to pretty much what everyone has been saying, time and wear + a refinishing or two down through years. I am still going to play with the look but not on this rifle, I have to get it done and out the door. This rifle is going to be what it is and that is not something that I am satisfied with but that is just me. It is still going to be a nice rifle to be proud of.
