Out of about 20 rifles and pistols I have built this is the only one I have hung on to. It has good mojo. Have a 54 on the bench and a 54 pistol to finish.

Well done, bowkill.

Now for that bear! Double lung or broadside through the front leg - won't take a step, most likely.

Careful, though, they can be angled even though appearing perfectly broadside. The diaphragm does not go back very far.

Nice rifle - I see the rear sight is far enough along, I would be able to shoot that one, myself.

Nice buck bowkill…...and rifle also!

I couldn't get it done with the ML during our two day ML weekend in Oct. but managed to get a nice 8 pt. with the crossbow the weekend after. Going out this weekend (our gun season) with the ML to pop a doe.

Hopefully you didn't have to much trouble dragging him over those boulders!  :)

Congrats!  Nicely done...and well photographed.  I hope to be composing a similar scene with Ol’ Killer, my .54 Virginia soon.

Nothing is hard if you have the right equipment and know how to use it.  OR have friends who have both.
