I would like to recommend Jon Rider of Kinsburyarms as a very good rifle builder.  His web site is www.kingsburyarms.com.  I purchased, at a very fair price, a southern mountain rifle built by him from a Kibler kit.  Jon did a great job on the kit and the finish on the stock.  I then asked him to take off the cheek piece on a smoothbore Tip Curtis flintlock.  He did a excellent job on matching the stain and finish on the gun.  Check out his web site to see examples of his engravings and stock carvings.

Nice- like the web site and gallery.
 I thought your guns had bevel down walnut flints, then I saw
 that bevel up on the fancy mtn, rifle gun. Nice rifles!

Jon certainly has been getting some fine looking, and eye popping finishes lately.  He sure that that part figured out.   :-)
