I do not want to be a pest but need some professional advice. I want to build a flintlock and have built one before. If I remember correctly the bottom of the pan fell about. 1/16 in below the bottom edge of the side flat,, not good. Im not gling to tackle a build from a plank. So if i use a precarved but non inletted stock I should be able to solve this problem. Correct? How would I locate (measure) to get the. L I ck positioned verticall correct ? I also do not want to have th flash hole liner end up to high on thd side flat. Do you just locate the lock bolster a smidge above centr of the flat?
Thanks
