Well it seems like it's been a long time coming on this one. I started this two years ago, incorporating some of the different Maryland school styles and some of my own ideas, trying to figure out my own personal style a bit. Profile is from an A Kopp rifle, although I kept the comb a bit high because it fit me so well that way. Carving is a mix of western MD area, Rizers and Armstrong. Patchbox started as a Peter White design. Started with a plank, hand inlet barrel and ramrod, had to make the thimbles, muzzlecap, entry pipe, sideplate and toeplate from sheet, inlays from silver sheet, patchbox from a MBS sheet/kit. Pleased with this one, and it handles and feels really good. .36 caliber, 48" Rayl swamped barrel that is TINY, must be an AA swamp weight. Chambers late Ketland lock.
