Fowler Wads vs Bore Diameter

I just received a 20 gauge bbl (along with a whole boxfull of other necessary parts).  I had anticipated the bore being .615 which I understand is the norm.  It is marked .620 on the bottom.  Will the standard .625 card over powder and over shot wads work ok in this bore?

The last flint fowler I shot was 40+ years ago and we used newspaper for wadding.  No, it didn't work too well.

I have a couple of GM .62cal Flint smoothbores...they are actually manufactured at .610" diameter...I use Circle Fly .620" wads and cards all the time.

IMO, the .005" difference you're asking about would not even be noticed on a base of .620"...and there is probably more manufacturing variance in .620" wad diameters than a mere .005" anyway

Taylor's using .685's in a 15 bore double of .675" - loads quite easily.
