Aluminum inlays on original rifle

Aluminum inlays on an original longrifle by M. M. Benson, Bruceton Mills, West Virginia.  Aluminum was worth more than silver when this rifle was built.

Would it be possible to get a close up of the rifles on the rack?  It would appear they are made with a pistol grip.  Would anyone know about what year the picture was taken?

 I think I read somewhere that the Crown Jewels of Sweden are mounted in polished aluminum, that’s how valuable aluminum was.

Here is a Benson rifle with the same cheek inlay as the other two. I think this might be aluminum, but not sure.

I have a Charles Meisner rifle from Muskingum County, Ohio with an aluminum inlay in the cheek piece. 1/2 stock percussion.

I have a Philip Schantz rifle (Canal Fulton, OH) with an aluminum inlay on the heel of the stock.
