I was one of the pre order folks so my wait time would be different.
It took me this long to get up the nerve to carve the stock. Buying a practice carving stock made the difference for me.

It’s just a simple beaver tail. The pictures of Lowell Haarer’s rifles in the July/August edition of MUZZLELOADER was a big influence on what I was trying to do.
