I filmed a bit with the local outdoor show in February, they finally got it online.  Check it out.   :D

Love the video!!!  With my eyes, I am much more productive when I take my fowler, but I keep trying with the .32 and .36!!!

Great video! Made my day. And a beautiful rifle too.

Squirrel opener in the Sooner state is May 15. If it isn't pouring down rain I may take the day off and see if I can bag a few with my .32

We also did a BP turkey hunt that aired on the show last night, too.  Birds didn't come close enough for a shot, but they got some good footage and I figure any exposure for flintlocks is good.  :)

Nice looking rifle but what you are missing is a powder measure. Pouring from the horn is not the best, or safest, way to do it.

Not sure what you're seeing, but I have and use a measure and don't load from the horn.

Watching the video it certainly looks like you are pouring from the horn into the bore.

Smokinbuck   If you stop the video you can see the rifle is tucked into the crook of his left arm as he is filling his measure which appears to be antler.  It is hard to follow when not stopped.
