Which pipes

On a jacob dickert flintlock which pipes would you suggest? The ones with octagon flats or pkain round with maybe a ring at each end. Im glad i lowered the wood around the lock the input from you guys. It looks so much better.

I prefer a Danish Freehand pipe with a mild Cavendish......   Oh, wait, you mean ramrod pipes.

The only J. Dickert I have seen had octagonal ramrod pipes with a ring at each end.

I'd look at some books and see what ol' Dickert used.

Thanks for the picture, Louie.  I’m getting ready to make a nosecap for my “Dickert” rifle, and was wondering about the rivet location.
