A rare powder horn that belonged to an African American soldier killed in the Revolutionary War has gone on display in Philadelphia.

Carried in the French and Indian War, the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.  A 3 war horn, pretty amazing it survived all of them, that in itself must be very rare for any horn.

Great post.  Thanks for sharing.
A photo shows the horn being held by one of Gresham Prince’s descendants and gives a good perspective of the horn’s size.
