Iron Trigger Guard

Forged out a guard from wrought iron. Now I just need to build a gun around it.

Nice work, really nice work.  Take your time and put it on a gun.... well, now that I think about it, that likely means you will have to forge out a butt plate also.....  so many things, so little time.

Bruce, butt plates are a lot easier to make, but if I don’t change my mind this one won’t need one. I have a piece of black walnut and a Bill Large barrel and I’m leaning toward a rifle inspired by RCA 137 but I couldn’t bring myself to duplicate that ugly gaurd.
