Hi,
The trigger guard came out nicely as well.

I have this down to a science. A couple of details to add - bone charcoal does make a difference. I had a mix of bone and wood and when I did the first run for the trigger guard, the result had unblued spots. I believe it was where coarser wood charcoal allowed air to remain. Consequently, I layer the bottom of the box with wood charcoal, then a layer of bone, then lay in the part and cover with bone charcoal. Finally I fill the rest with wood charcoal and seal the top with aluminum foils. The finer bone charcoal surrounding the part likely prevents trapped air from spoiling the finish. The charcoal is reusable at least as filler.
