NW Trade Gun Trigger Guard Bow

Using the Trade and Treaty book and scaling hi came up with a bow that drops 1.75 inches
And is about 2.25 inches wide. Does this sound too big?  The big bow is a signature piece of the gun.
I just don't want I don't want IT TO BE TOO big.

I think this book has some typos with some of the dimension.

Your numbers are about normal.

I measured the bow on an original Wheeler. The inside of the bow front to back 2 1/8
 ...Inside of bow, wood to  bow  1 5/8 . Width of bow 57/64 inch.  I checked the  width of the bow on an unattached  guard that was 61/64 inch. They were not all the same....LP
