Here are some pics of a range session with my .58 Getz barreled Allen Martin built rifle......... Amazing when you stumble on the one load that a gun REALLY wants. And that 90gr Swiss 2F group is actually 5 shots because I wanted to BE SURE
Now I just have to tweak the barrel a bit to get the POI where I want it.
These groups were shot off a bench at 50yds.
My Colerain barreled turkey fowler also shows a serious preference for Swiss 2F over anything else. The patterns improved immensely with all other factors remaining the same against Goex powder. Why? No idea.
Conversely I have yet to find a gun that really likes Swiss 3F..... everything I've tried it in .45-54 cal has been hot, usually high, and wild even with reduced charges compared to 3F goex.
