Gun maker George Seeley

Would anyone know of a gun builder by the name of George Seeley?  He would have been making rifles circa 1980's.

I can't answer your question but I will be posting this question on my own and searching for an answer and, assuming I find one, I'll pass it on to you.

I bought a Seeley rifle with a barrel marked 1980. I assume you have one as well?

  I do not have a Seeley rifle but have seen 2 over the past few years.  A friend who once had a Seeley rifle believed he was from Virginia and had advertised in Muzzle Blasts magazine in the 1980's.
