I received the rifle I bought from the J. M. Davis auction a few weeks ago. It was a gamble for sure. The photos were horrible and the descriptions were even worse. I took a chance on this one and am very, very pleased. :-)

That's a nice looking Easton rifle and sure looks like Samuel States to me. Good condition too.

I especially like the furniture on this rifle. The file work is very well done. The entry pipe is superb. The narrow tang on the buttplate is a great detail and really helps the rifle in its side profile. Great acquisition !
