Lawrence Fiorillo - Leatherwork Pouches, Bags
« on: August 18, 2019, 08:17:39 PM »
I was very pleased to get to meet Lawrence at the CLA show this year.  He really makes some beautiful bags that look like they have been finely crafted, used for 10 years, and well cared for.  "Lovingly broken in" might be a good description.  They'd make a perfect companion to some of our current "well loved" style antiqued rifles.  Look him up and check out his work.  He seems very humble about his skills.  I didn't take the photo below, but it shows one of his earlier bags.  God Bless,   Marc

I'm sorry.  This should have been in Accoutrements.  Moderator, can you relocate please?  Many thanks, Marc

He's been putting together some very nice pouches and this one is very nicely done.  Bravo to Lawrence and thanks for sharing Marc.

I saw his display at CLA, but too late. If I hadn't already picked up a Jeff Gier and a Ken Scott bag I would've bought one of his. Super work.

I would echo the positive appraisal of Lawrence’s work.  It’s top notch.  This is the one he did for me a couple years ago.

Macruger, this the guy I was telling you about.  I talked with him at Dixons and flat out told him, you've got it going on!  And he wasn't adverse to telling you how he does things.  A true craftsman in my eyes!

Met him at the CLA show this year too. I think he has become a great bag maker.
