Shooting toward the rising sun

My range is unfortunately oriented so that the rising sun right in your face this time of year.  It was so bad I could not shoot.  I have early cataracts and could not see the target or sights at all. 

The peep hole on my shooting glasses made it worse.  I did not try polarized sunglasses, are they of any help?

I dont know of anything that will help when looking into the sun. Ive tried different sunglasses an some were very expensive an none helped at all. The man above sure did give us a bright bulb to see by

if the range is covered you could try hanging a tarp so you can just see your targets under the edge of tarp. marginal at best.

I think burning an hour or so before heading out is probably your best bet outside reorienting your range.

I think I'd shoot at a different time of the day.

Polarizing sun glasses can help - need to try them to find out if they will work for you. With cataracts, who knows without trying them.

When you get your eyes fixed, you will be surprised at the new clarity - but old Sun will still get ya!

Be careful when shooting toward the sun.  If you were to accidentally hit it the results for Earth could be catastrophic.

Same problem at the range where I shoot. I like going first thing in the morning, but it just doesn't work there. I have to wait until 10 or 11 to shoot.

Looking for another range.
