I have a 1/4 28 vent liner, can I drill and tap for a 5/16 32 white lightning liner.

Are you having problems with the existing 1/4-28 liner?

Is the existing liner internally coned?

Is the existing vent liner displeasing because of an external Allen or screw slot being exposed?

The Chambers White Lightning is a great vent liner, but there really should be no need to change to a Chamber's liner unless you are having issues with the existing liner, such as the vent hole is too big or in the wrong position.  If the touch hole is too small, open the touch hole to 1/16".  You will likely have to open the White Lightning liner after it is installed.

Be sure you are getting the Jim Chamber's White lightning liner as his version has the best shaped internal coning for sure ignition of the main charge.
