Lowell Haarer matched set

I don't know why there are not more people showing pictures of their Lowell Haarer rifles but here is your chance. Let's see those rifles and pistols of Lowell's you have! This matched set is featured on his web page under "Sparky's Nothing Fancy". Both are in .54 caliber with Rice swamped barrels. Both have Chambers late Ketland locks and shoot beautifully. I had Lowell add to the rifle one of his famous "ghost rings" on the tang. Really helps those old eyes. I could not be happier with them and highly recommend Lowell to anyone who wants a custom made rifle delivered in a reasonable time (about 1 year) at a price most people can actually afford. He is patient with the client, answers all your questions and his attention to detail can not be beat.

Lowell is such a talented and humble man. I love the warm look and feel of his guns. He also makes some jewel-like accoutrements. God bless, Marc

One of Lowell's primers made in the shape of a beaver. Nice craftsmanship.

Marc, that little beaver is just the neatest thing since spiced bread...thanks for sharing!
Mike, that is as nice a rifle/pistol set as I’ve seen in a long time. Stunning wood, and beautiful design. Congrats!

Beautiful filling job on that rifle and pistol's stock. Nice to see, even if it isn't PC.
That takes a lot of work, I know.
