Test for Lead Free Solder

I have some tin cups and a copper cup I bought at a reenactors yard sale. Is there a way to tell of the solder
Used on these is lead free?

Personally I wouldn't worry about it. However, if it makes you feel any better, back in 1991 most reenactor venders I knew of were advertising the use of lead free solder.

I don't see why a lead test kit from a home improvement store would not work for you. The one I saw was non-toxic and would detect lead in plastic, vinyl and painted surfaces. About $10 as I recall. Just a thought.
