I thought that one was the coolest of the bunch.   Love that pistol grip.

I was very surprised myself. There's just no way to predict. Next show could be a completely different order.
It is one of the most traditional designs.

Great stuff Ken. Super.

Ken
Gorgeous work.  I wish I had seen this BEFORE the show. I'd have looked for you. I was there, but I didn't hang around long. I got what I came for and left. I'm a knife maker from Berwick. I don't get as elaborate as you do, but I make some nice knives.
God bless:

Ken had a few more of his cow femur knives at the Cumberland show this weekend including the one discussed above (marked sold) so if you’re sorry you missed out give him a holler. They are gorgeous knives.

Got home a little while ago from Lake Cumberland. Really enjoyed the show and got a chance to meet some new folks and see some fine work. Would have liked to meet you Two Feathers and seen your knives. Maybe next time.

Ken, I enjoyed meeting you at Lake Cumberland Saturday, and I too was impressed by the quality and detail in the knives you had made that were displayed on the table, however, I am still reminiscing on the thing that caught my eye and that was the two long guns you had there. I thoroughly admired the unusual features on the Penn Dutch painted motif on those, especially the one that you and Ian worked on together. Great job!

I realized I never answered the question about what type of bone I used on these knives. Many of these were done with bone scales I bought many years ago probably from Crazy Crow or some other knife making supply house. I'm not sure what animal they are from but they were about about 1/4 inch thick by 1 1/4" by maybe 5". Others I've gotten from local sources and are cow leg bones. It's hardf to find just the right bone to use.

Ken, the knife arrived and it is an absolute gem.  I am very, very pleased.  Now I have to make another sheath.  Also, your packing is way beyond anything I have ever seen.  No gorilla could harm that packing, even with a bulldozer.  Many thanks good sir.   God Bless,   Marc

Hello Marc, Glad to heat your pleased with your new knife. It’s funny I get as many comments about the package as I do the knife. Can’t wait to see what you come up with for a sheath.

Fred thanks for the bone source I’ll check them out.
