Sheath for Ken Gahagan Bone Handle Knife
« on: February 20, 2020, 08:34:12 PM »
Hi Folks,

I decided to craft a sheath for the great knife I bought from Ken.  A simple pouch type sheath.  I have two friends wanting sheaths, so I figured practice is never a bad thing.  4-5 ounce cowhide.  Heavy welt.  Welt under the top of the belt loop.  I hope I did Ken's knife justice.

My apologies for the poor photos of Ken's knife.  For some reason that checkering on the grip really washes out in photos.

God Bless,   Marc

You did it justice Marc. Very nice job. I was so close to buying one of Kens knives at the show. Super craftsmanship.

Nice job Marc!  Love the tooling!  I’d be proud to tuck that in my belt and wear it anywhere!

Saw these blades at Lewisburg.  Your sheath does them justice.

Marc, that sheath is perfect for that blade and style.  I had that knife in my hand at Lewisburg and was thinking hard on it.  Then I went for a pouch and horn from fiorillo.  Very classy looking sheath!
