Gunner's Mate by Davec2- opinions?
« on: February 18, 2020, 07:33:48 PM »
Howdy. Does anyone here have and use the Gunner's Mate FUT (Flinter Utility Tool) of forum member Davec2? I know Dave can answer about its overall length for use in small rifle bag. His wares look impeccably made and beautiful, for sure!

You will not regret buying one. It is like the Swiss Army knife of muzzleloader tools. It takes down into three small components for compact carrying. Makes a fine “security blanket” when out shooting.  Worth every penny. Precision made. God bless, Marc

While I don't own the item in question, or any other item by Davec2, I have been here many years and have seen a lot of items that he has made. They all are very well crafted and designed and very tastefully engraved. His stuff is very nice.

Taylor and I both have Dave's Gunner's Mate tools. They are impeccably made - wonderful in every way.
Mine covers both my .69 and .50 cal. rifles.  Love it.

Much thanks Clark and Daryl. i did order one and asked Dave to age it as I don't really need crow bait! I expect it to be a great kit.

Oil,

Gunner’s Mate is antiqued and on its way to you.

Received my Gunner's Mate today.  You guys were spot on, thanx.

What an ingenious and lovely piece of kit! Flawless construction with very smooth threads all about and a nice warm finish.

Great job Dave and thank you.
