One fine primer

My good friend and horn maker par excellence Scott Morrison, made this priming horn to go along with and match the horn he made for my Lowell Haarer rifle/pistol matched set. Almost a shame to hide it away in my shooting bag.

I would attach a screw eye to the top corner of the brass top, run a thong through it, and hang it around my neck, rather than stow it in my pouch.  But that's just me.

As an old welder on natural gas pipes there is something I just can't get past with hanging something explosive around my neck close to the flashing of a flintlock. I do agree it would be nice to not stuff it in a bag but that is just the way it is. Most people don't realize a "Bic" lighter is the same as a 1/4 stick of dynamite and has injured and killed welders in the past.
