Bucks County trigger plate

I’ve went through my Fowler book, RCA 1 and the KRA disk and can’t find a picture of a BC  trigger plate.  Anyone know what the look like?   I’m ready to saw and file one. Are they similar to a Lehigh?

Look at Taylor Sapergia’s Verner.

I bet there’s a lot of variation. I suspect the “boat” style was most common.

I'll save you the trouble...here's a few pics of that trigger plate.  I suspect most plates were very similar to the traditional Lehigh plate, ie:  a boat shape.  I cut a spur on the tail of mine so that a screw wasn't necessary to hold the tail end in the wood.  The Verner plate is arguably, a little fancier than the common BC trigger plate.  But the overall shape is common.

How long and how wide?

That's a #8 screw in the boss, and the material was 1/16" thick, doubled in the boss.  I'm guessing the plate is about 2 1/2" long.
