Kieffer's Rifles
« on: August 04, 2009, 06:30:48 AM »
I was pleased to see that George Kieffer got a purple ribbon for his rifle entry. It was his first submission.
He is a friend of mine and I got to know him some years ago when I first visited Kieffer's Gun Shop in Temple,Pa. (Fleetwood P.O.). I liked his work and now have 4 of his rifles.
He likes to build rifles in the style of Frederick Sell (have 3) but I conned him into doing a Dickert for me last year. His rifles have a certain down home old timey appearance that appeals to me and many others.

I'll try to get a chance to post some pixs  --  that is, if I can figure out how to do it.
