Good Point NorthMN. Like to old adage goes, "look out for the man who owns only one rifle,  you can bet you a** he knows how to use it".

Knew two excellent shots.  One liked to play with different rifles and shot a different one every shoot.  We all felt he could have cleaned house had he settled on one.  Another shooter would shoot the same rifle, or one like it depending on his sales, and was very deadly.  I was kind of like the first guy and always felt I should have settled on one gun when I shot, but where's the fun in that.

I use 3 different guns also. When I'm going for buck or bear, I use my 50. Doe's. I use my 45. Small game, I use my 32. I also have a musket for turkey, but that don't count. At shoot's, I use only my 50. With one exception. when we have the small caliber, competition.
My 50 is the first gun I ever built. I built it when I was 16, and now I'm 53. It originally had a 40ish cal. hammer seamed barrel. In the 70's I bought a factory barrel and installed it on the rifle. I've shot 1000's of ball through that barrel with the same load, 65 gr. 2f. Once I sighted it in, I've never changed. I know exactly where that ball is going every ahot.

All shooters know that, whatever gun they are using.  The ball goes exactly where the barrel is pointed whenever the trigger is squeezed.......but that's not always where we wanted it to go.   ;D
