This is a cherry stocked pistol I built. It has a Muzzle Loader Builders Supply barrel, Siler lock. I made the sight, trigger and plate, butt cap and thimbles. I found the cherry a little chippy to work with. I prefer good hard curly maple.

Sweet looking pistol. Do you have a Close up of the tang carving?
Best regards

I also like what I can see of your tang carving. Is it something you came up with? Also would like to see a plan view closeup.

Really nice, neat work, Bob. I like the carving and the engraving.

Finally got a picture of the carving. I'm sure it is not historically correct but I was having trouble with the chippy wood.
