I picked up a couple gravers at Dixon and I am just getting into the engraving side of building. Question. What metal parts do you folks engrave while they are on the rifle and what do you engrave on the side. i.e. patchbox, side plate....? Also what kind of books, classes and tools do you recommend. While at Dixon's I picked up two gravers from Mike Timberlake. They are really nice and gives me a lot of hand hold on the tool. Feels nice with a piece of leather wrapped around it like Mike showed. Practice, Practice, Practice is my objective before I start my build. Thanks for your in put.
