LH Bone Handle Knife...Finished

I said I wasn't going to post anymore but it seems like I'm in the forge every day. Anyway my friend who I've helped with his bear camp (Traditional Bow Only...longbow & recurve) asked me to make him a Bear Bone Knife. Only difference is he is Left handed. Not a big deal but it is different getting the feel correct for a Left hand when you are Right hand. Here is the start today. I forge all my knives starting with the handle. Therefore I use tongs and cut my steel first. You'll notice I cut my starting tip at a 45% angle. This is a little cheater in that it only takes 2-3 hammer blows to start my knife tip...tippit

Finished 10 inches OAL with blade finished from Scotch Brite belt. It will stay unstained as it is a working knife for my friend who runs Bear Camp...tippit

I sure like the looks of this one. Nice proportions for a working knife.
