my fighting knife

this is one of the knives I made to carry in Iraq










I made this with a trade knife in mind but it had to be strong enough for any thing I mite come against it did well .not in a combate but was a good tool.
the handle is hickory blade is from a file with a full tapered tang the pic with the boot is for size the boot is a size 10 1/2. comments helpful.

That is an honest "means business" knife  Ottawa.  That you didn't need it for combat is a relief...lethal hand to hand cannot be taken lightly, no matter one's training, including phsycological.   Still, it is a comfort to be prepared, and you surely were.
