« on: July 03, 2020, 03:00:13 AM »
Now I have to make up my mind on a lock and barrel.  Can’t thank you enough for the good time and nice wood Wayne. It’ll be on its way to Washington State soon.

Beautiful wood Mike. That will make someone very happy. Nice meeting you today. We both had to keep an eye on Stoner Creek.  I have family in Washington State.  Beautiful place.

Good to see you too Gary.  Your rifle was one of the nicest I’ve seen.  Darn good shooter too.

Greg,

It’s going to be a 40, 50 or 54 Lehigh. I’m going to pattern it off the .36 I built.  I need something for deer season.

You spend money every time you see Stoner. If your wife finds out you will be banded from the creek, lol.

Dave,  I’m staying put.  I send the blanks to Rase in Washington for inletting.

Brian,

I told Stoner his place is how I remember being a kid and having .50 in the candy store.  The place is a slice out of heaven.

I think when you make your own stuff,  it gives the illusion of costing less.  My wife complains more about the time it takes me away from her remodeling projects or how she wishes I could get into remodeling projects as much as I do 18th Century leather and gun  work.  I think she’s finally realized that I’m a work in progress.

I learned with wife numero uno to never let another wife know that I know how to do much of anything. I hide my wood working tools in machinist chest in the garage and tell her they are maching tools that I don't need at this particular time.  ;D
