Goat horn finish

Looking for advice on what to rub on the outside of a small angora goat priming horn I just whipped up. Its crevicey and groovy and if it looks rough and aged with finish, that will be ok with me. Advice welcomed.

I'd use some sort of wax or shoe polish, neutral if you don't want to change the color. If you want to clean it up a very soft wire brush would work or chuck one up in a drill or late and work it.

Thanks Tim. Maybe I'll try some brown briwax and see how it looks. I'm experimenting so if doesn't turn out well, no worries. It will still function.
Thanks!
