1984, 1986 & 2009 NMLRA Gunsmithing Seminars
« on: September 19, 2009, 04:57:54 AM »
Thanks to a student from Texas who attended the Seminar in the early 1980s, I have been able to add a pge to my website for the 1984 Seminar and to update the 1986 Seminar page. I also posted some class pictures for this years Seminar and many more are supposed to be on their way.

The 1984 Seminar class pictue is well worth a look just to see how many of the members who now contribute to this ALR board were there in 1984! Who's that young guy, with the "fro" haircut, fifth from the left in the back row? :)

I still don't see me. I have some pictures of some shooting we did before the seminar, I'll see if I can get those scanned and post them.....if I can find them again.
Amazing how skinny everybody was back in the 80's..... :P

Say, any of you boys smithies? Or, if not smithies per se, were you otherwise trained in the metallurgic arts before straitened circumstances forced you into a life of aimless wanderin'?

Thanks Gary, I have located a lot of old friends that are still around, some that are not.  I found Joe Valentin and Bob Elka
from Michigan, I think they must have attended just about every one.   Good to see some old pictures of John Bivins, and
Monte Mandarino..........great pictures..............Don
