SC, you might want to consider screening the area where the furniture was found and then spread out from there until you have exhausted your chances to find anything else. Also, your gun may have had silver wire inlay which probably would not show up using a detector. If you have a pump and a water source you could wet screen the material which would speed things up for you. Good luck!
