Hello All, Wondering what alternatives to horn people might have used I back then. Does anyone have examples? I can’t seem to find a lot online. Thank You.

This little fellow had some grains of powder shaking around in it when it came my way.
Also, there are two tin containers on page 125 of Madison Grant's "Powder Horns and Their Architecture."
Enjoy,
Kevin
