Jim Kibler Question - Barrel Making

I noticed that the new Kibler barrels start at Green Mountain.  Are these rifled blanks that are profiled into swamped barrels at the Kibler shop?  Alternately, are they bored barrel blanks that the Kibler shop then rifles and profiles?

I believe they are rifled at GM and profiled at Jim’s.

I believe they are rifled at GM and profiled at Jim’s.

Green Mountain bores and reams all of our bar stock barrel blanks.  They rifle everything .45 caliber and above.  We rifle .40, .36 and .32 calibers as they declined to do these calibers for us.
All other work is done in our shop.

Marvelous video - thanks Jim. I was thinking, it would be such an easy 'thing' to actually "finish" the muzzle crown with emery, in-shop - just a few seconds 'work' when the barrel is already
on a lathe, however if the muzzle is machine crowned by CNC, then perhaps it isn't possible. It would, though, be a nice "touch".

Man you would think that you make a royalty with the thumb cleaning up a muzzle. ;D

I have never done that with a barrel, and you are starting to make me wonder what I am missing!
