I would say that Mike Eder at flintlocks LLC could fix you up.

Sir; Rice Barrel Co. makes stainless range rods. Tell them what you want. Have a great week. AJ. Some one on this site will post the phone number.

A regular 1\4 inch range rod would be too tight IMHO but you might be able to turn one of them down to working dimensions if you can't find one other wise.

Buffalo Arms has a 13/64" x 44- inch Dewey cleaning rod with 8-32 threads. It even comes with a brass muzzle guard for $28.89 plus shipping.

If you have a Rayl .25 cal barrel the bore is a few thousands over .250" so a perfect 1/4" ramrod should fit.

If a .25" rod is too snug, slight/some sanding will make it right.

Start with a Good 5/16 rod and work it down. One of these is easy to make, start with a 5/16ths bit then work down 19/64, 9/32, 17/64ths to 1/4, counter sink/file one side. Finish it off with sand paper. Works good for tapering a rod also.

I think Dave R. is correct.  Ed's barrels are a bit over .250 and do take a quarter inch range rod.  At least that's what I use on mine (.25).  James Levy

My Rayle .25 cal barrel is .255" bore size.  A 1/4" hickory rod works fine for shooting in the field, and for off the bench and for cleaning, I made3 up a 3/16" drill rod range/cleaning rod.
