Another old lock...

What say you, third quarter 18th Century?

Off of a horse pistol sized, brass and steel mounted Middle Eastern piece, or piece for the middle eastern trade.  It's an 'either-or' possibility, I think.

Tumbler must have broken a-ways back and was never repaired.

Nicely made. Could be Slavic. It’s hard to guesstimate dates on locks outside the English/French/Belgian/Germanic ones we are familiar with.
