New knife arrival w/complimentary gift!
« on: February 11, 2021, 10:46:37 PM »
Shaping up to be a great month. This is my 1st arrival, a large french clasp knife. Beautifully executed! Can you guess the freebie?  :o ;D If the least bit careless it WILL be needed ... then some.

Scott’s knives should all come with a complimentary bandaid! His work is wickedly sharp.  I recall I made it 15 minutes after getting a beautiful patch knife from him before promptly slicing my finger.

Thanks Keith and James. Indeed, thanks for the warning Shopdog. I guess one needs to be mighty careful cutting patches toward yer neck at the muzzle then; I hear Scott is highly esteemed for his straight razors too!

The 2nd and best parcel is yet to come; my poor DeCamp horn is getting mighty lonely, so James took pity on us.

I bought a knife from him years ago at an event.  I sold it and my flintlock rifle when I was in grad-school to make rent.  I miss that knife more than I do the rifle.
